    Mexico Inspiration — summer

    Corona Sunsets 2017

This weekend, I had the opportunity to go to one of the most amazing festivals made in Mexico, the Corona Sunsets Festival, and plus: it was in my hometown, San Pancho, Nayarit.

I arrived very early, and everything was very rustic and beautiful.
Beautiful people all over the place!, the persons wearing a cape were the "guardians", and they made sure you put the trash in the cans and all that.
The main stage was amazing, and by night time, it also shot some fire! my favorite DJ was Bruno Martini.
The other stage, called crown stage, was more relax, but also fun!
So many people, it's was a lifetime experience.
When the sun goes down, the party goes on too!
It's was so much fun, I just hope they make more events like this one soon, and if you haven't attend a Mexican festival, you definitely need to give it a chance!

    Music Festival: Fashion Ideas

It's summer, and we all know that music festival are happening, or even just parties everywhere. So, here are some fashion ideas, that can get you inspired:

Metallic Tattoos are everywhere!, I'm sure everyone has seen them, and they are very easy to find (We're sellling them very soon at our shop!), also, compliment them with some cute rings and a fresh manicure, and you are ready to go.

A cute hairstyle is key for this events, and no worries, it can be something as simple as two little buns, or you can go with braids, with a pony, just make it cute.

When it comes to clothes, remember: there are no rules here! you can do pretty much anything, go with sneakers, flip flops, even barefoot!, and choose something light to wear, because, remember: it's going to be hot!

    And remember:

Have fun! (And take a lot of pictures)

The person you will be in 5 years

What do you expect to be in 5 years from now?

What are you doing now to be that person?

I used to write letter to myself, -as crazy as it sounds - every single year, at the end of December, I would sit and write my best wishes and I also made questions like, "how are things?, do you have a boyfriend now?, what happened with that thing?

And so, a year later, I would receive that letter and I would see how much I've changed in just a year.

It scares me that in five years I'll be 29, I mean, almost 30!, right?, but it also gives me the chance to dream about the person I will become, and the traveling I'll be making and the new experiences.

They say that if your dreams don't scare you, then you are not dreaming big enough. But also, it's not just about dreaming -as I realize recently. It's about making little steps to make those dreams happen. Even if they are baby steps.

So, maybe today it's a good day to sit, have a cup of tea or a coffee and ask yourself:

Who do I want to be in 5 years? and I'm not asking what do you want to have, or be with, or where are you going to be living, I'm asking about you, you loving yourself, and you caring about yourself.

We often forget about ourselves and get caught in the material things, we stuck on work and we are seeking something, but we don't know what it is.

Maybe it's time to figure things out.

    Summer fashion essentials for traveling

We are welcoming the summer, and with that, we are also traveling a lot, because we all need a little vacation from work, from the cities or we just want to have fun, so that's why I created this list talking about the fashion essentials that you must pack, so, don't worry, I got you covered.

    1. Denim shorts.

Personally, I really love high wasted shorts, they are very trendy and also flattering on everyone, also, you can wear them over your swimsuit, dress them down with some sneakers or be a little more fancy with some high heels, the possibilities are endless.

    2. Crop tops

Crop tops are the new black. Whether you love them or hate them, they are everywhere, and you should definitely give them a chance.

    3. Bodysuits

Most of my friends have seen bodysuit and imediately think "that's a swimsuit", but honestly, they are the most comfortable thing in the world, also, they mak you look slimmer, so, do you need another excuse to wear them?

    4. Belts

Whether you like them skinny or thick, you need to have some on your closet, and pack some, because they can make an outfit look amazing.

    5. Sandals

So your feet can breathe, and also you will look very fashionable.

    6. Sneakers

I used to hate sneakers so much, I never wore them, until recently, I understand how comfortable they are, also, you just need to have a white and a black pair, and you are good to go.

    7. Jewelry

Statement pieces like this ones would make a perfect outfit.

    You only live once

    You only live once

Here’s the thing: ever since we are born, society tell us what it’s correct, there’s a path that we are supposed to follow, and if you are not doing it, then, what’s wrong with you?

I’ve said this many times, but we are in so much pressure at such a young age, and that shouldn’t be the case. I, like many other teenagers nowadays, was “forced” to pick a career, and to follow it. I remember I was at my second year, and I felt miserable, I wanted to quit, but of course I didn’t do it, what a shame, who would I be then?

Looking back, I don’t regret that decision, it was good, it gave me a purpose, going to school can be amazing, but it’s not everything. Parents fail sometimes by not giving they children the opportunity to enjoy life and be a little more free.

I cannot conceive the idea of not going to school, but that's because I was raised with this idea of become someone, and be successful.

    And now I am here.

I called my mom the other day asking for advice and the only words I remember from her are “but, what are you going to do now? You are a psychologist, if you are not going to work as one, then, why did we paid so much for you education?”

Here’s the thing: we are not a box.

School and society want us to become boxes, they want to limit us, they put labels, and that’s it. But we need to remember that we can be anything we want to. You can be successful, even if you didn’t go to school. You can be a lawyer who loves to dance, and become a dance teacher, you can be a chef who loves clothes, and open a clothing store, you can do anything!

But just as long as you wanted.

Enjoy life, become whatever you want, cause at the end, as cliché as it sounds, you only live once.
